Our story

Lo Peix: Our family, your home.

In the local Rapitenc dialect, our family surname, López, sounds almost identical to "Lo Peix" (The Fish). It's no coincidence. It's a direct bond with the roots of La Ràpita and its deep seafaring tradition.

We have designed this apartment for those who seek calm: families winding down, couples craving silence, solo travellers who come to read or surf. A cared-for, clean and serene space. Away from the noise, wrapped in the essence of the Ebro Delta.

Guía Local

What to do in the Ebro Delta: The Ultimate Guide 2026

Discover why the Delta is the Mediterranean's best-kept secret.

The Ebro Delta Natural Park is not just a place to visit; it’s a place to feel. It’s a horizontal landscape where the sky and sea merge into an embrace of rice fields and lagoons. From Lo Peix Apartments, we offer you this exhaustive guide so you don't miss anything in this environment declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

Nature and Birdwatching

The Delta is home to over 300 species of birds. Flamingos are the undisputed stars, visible throughout the year in the Tancada or l'Encanyissada lagoons. We recommend waking up early to see the sunrise from the Riet Vell lookout or head towards Punta de la Banya. It’s a chromatic spectacle that changes with every season.

Active Tourism and Beaches

If you're looking for action, the Delta is your place. Kitesurfing at Trabucador beach is a mystical experience: water on both sides of an infinite sand tongue. For families, cycle tourism is ideal thanks to the totally flat terrain. You can rent bikes in La Ràpita and pedal to the mouth of the Ebro.

Gastronomy Paired with Rice

You haven't been to the Delta if you haven't tried its rice. From the classic Arroz a Banda to Black Rice with seafood from the port of La Ràpita. The local cuisine is based on local products: mantis shrimp, Delta mussels, and vegetables from the garden.
